Genre: Hip-hop

Recorded on 16 July 2019.

(Bridge 1)
I hope you hold on tight for this
Oh, no
Oooooooooooooooooooooooh, ooooooooooooooooh
Ooooooooooooooooooh, ooooooooh
(Laugh)
(Oooooooooh)
Well, you really oughta think about what you're gonna do
(Ooooooooh)
(Cause there's no turning back now)

(Verse 1)
No words can describe how I feel
My body's shaking with fear
It's a certain time of truth
What I gotta do is rear
No time to think
Gotta react fast
Thoughts keep telling me: React!
Obviously, that's all I gotta do
Come, join me
We all gotta learn
Of all things that are tough
You can't back down now
Cause if you do
You will live to regret what you do
You gotta be strong
No matter what happens
This journey that's long
You'll have to face it
You have been warned
You just gotta think

(Chorus)
Let's face all the challenges that we'll encounter
Even when there'll be moments that are downer
Cause there is no turning back
No, no turning back
You should never give up when things turn out bad
Yes, in certain cases you will feel sad
But there is no turning back
No, there's no turning back
Life is a test
Everyone knows it
Not all will admit it
But that's for later
There is no turning back
No, no, no
No turning back

(Bridge 2)
Ooooh, oooooooh, oooooooooh
(Life is just crazy)
Ooooh, oooooh, oooh
(But everything comes with a price, sooner or later)
Ooooh, oooh, ooooooooh
(Believe me!)

(Verse 2)
All of us, we have our doubts
And problems of trust
You have to make your chances
That way, you will advance
And the more you learn
The better you feel
For what you'll learn
There'll be appeal
Whether or not you'll notice
There's always some space for that

(Bridge 3)
Oooooooh
Life is just great
Life is inviting
To give you a breakthrough
For you to remember
There is so much to think of
You just have to stay strong
Are you ready to travel
To this wonderful life?

(Chorus)
Let's face all the challenges that we'll encounter
Even when there'll be moments that are downer
Cause there is no turning back
No, no turning back
You should never give up when things turn out bad
Yes, in certain cases you will feel sad
But there is no turning back
No, there's no turning back
Life is a test
Everyone knows it
Not all will admit it
But that's for later
There is no turning back
Oh, oh, oh
No turning back

(Verse 3)
Things are gonna be revealed every now and then
When you're nervous, just count to ten, and proceed
To continue to get what you need
Essentially you've got to pay attention
To continue in this dimension
Forward, don't always think of your imagination
You've got a long way from your start
So you won't fall apart
And the obstacles will seem nothing

(Bridge 3)
The prize that you will earn is there
But face the obstacles first
There is no better start than this time
Cause as you may know

(Chorus)
Let's face all the challenges that we'll encounter
Even when there'll be moments that are downer
Cause there is no turning back
No, no turning back
You should never give up when things turn out bad
Yes, in certain cases you will feel sad
But there is no turning back
No, there's no turning back
Life is a test
Everyone knows it
Not all will admit it
But that's for later
There is no turning back
No, no, no
No turning back
Let's face all the challenges that we'll encounter
Even when there'll be moments that are downer
Cause there is no turning back
No, no turning back
You should never give up when things turn out bad
Yes, in certain cases you will feel sad
But there is no turning back
No, there's no turning back
Life is a test
Everyone knows it
Not all will admit it
But that's for later
There is no turning back
Oh, oh, oh
No turning back

(Outro)
So you held on tight for this, right?
That's great!
So I guess I don't have to tell you about this topic
Ok?
Come on

(Intro)

Jenny: Oh my! He's so beautiful. Our Robert Steven
John: Can't believe I've finally become a father, I am so happy!
Ron: Congratulations, John and Jenny! This moment has finally occurred.
Nurse: You two are very fortunate people, you're both highly admired and praised, and you've earned yourselves another follower, here before your very eyes.
Jenny: I know we're gonna be great parents, just as much as we are great people, right, John?
John: Of course we are, sweetheart. I just know it from having just heard you state it.
Jenny: Welcome to the world, little boy!

(Verse 1)
Welcome to the world
Where you'll expect great things
All the stuff that will carry you
through life for the rest of your days
Welcome to the world
Where stuffs shall be explored
But you gotta watch out
for what's going to come
(For what's going to come)
But the good part is
you will learn to overcome
the bad things
And be grateful for all you've had to do
To reach satisfaction
(To reach satisfaction)

(Chorus)
I know it won't be east
But please listen and trust me
No matter what happens
Always do good
(Always do good)
You'll find the value of doing good sometime
And one day you will feel great
Just always do the right thing
Think straight
Remember that
(Remember that)

(Verse 2)
Obstacles
Some may seem pointless
Some will be harsh
But not all things are rose-coloured
Why?
You may ask this at times
Why does this keep happening?
Remember to always be strong
No matter how helpless you feel
Cause you've got a reward
at the end of road

(Chorus)
I know it won't be easy
But please listen and trust me
No matter what happens
Always do good
(Always do good)
You'll find the value of doing good sometime
And one day you will feel great
Just always do the right thing
Think straight
Remember that
(Remember that)

(Verse 3)
A strong mind will help you
Every time that you're feeling down
(Every time that you're feeling down)
In this feared and cruel world
You've gotta survive
You don't know when you'll be on your own
You gotta find all your grounds
To know what makes you stand out
That way you'll be happy
And have your identity
So go on

(Chorus)
I know it won't be east
But please listen and trust me
No matter what happens
Always do good
(Always do good)
You'll find the value of doing good sometime
And one day you will feel great
Just always do the right thing
Think straight
Remember that
(Remember that)

(Outro)
Welcome to the world
It's a place for fun and more
To get to the top
You must make a lot of steps
Hard ones, easy ones
A roller coaster, indeed
Welcome to this world
Where anything will just happen
Welcome

Welcome to the World by Jenny Nagy

Welcome to the World, is the eleventh (11th) studio album by American-Hungarian singer and actress Jenny Nagy, her first album since This Is All About Me, released in 2015. The album was recorded in 2019 with the help of several producers. Nagy played a more significant part in playing instruments in comparison with her previous albums. For the first time, her long time manager Ron Jones became regularly involved with production of songs. Additionally, husband and mega-star John Raymond was also keenly involved in some tracks.
Recording began on 4 January 2019, with a track titled "Love", the album was completed on 5 December.

Overview
Nagy had several themes in mind while making the songs, around mid-2019, she officially decided that she would make four albums that would centre around serious topics, all while still having a pop sound.
Of the 14 tracks in the standard version, "The Moment I Treasure" was the first to be created, recorded on 1 February and having been written 2 weeks prior.
On the 13th, "Choices You Make" followed.
The title track "Welcome to the World" was written in May in honour of her then 1-year-old son Steve Smith-Nagy.
"My life has changed for good ever since Steve came to our lives, we expect to be great inspirations for what's to come in the near future, for him and also for us". Nagy on interview with Rolling Stone on 5 May 2019.
"Here Come the Big Moments" was written around April and was inspired by various stories.
For the song "Again", it was decided that Skylar Grey would be appropiate to collaborate with. "I've been friends with Eminem since 2000, and I met Skylar around 2008. I admire what she does, and I'd wanted to work with her since at least 2010 or 2012". I called Em to give me his thoughts on the song and the collaboration, he replied that he loved it and totally recommended that I do it. Needless to say, it was bold choice.
"Have I Told You Lately?" was inspired by statements she'd heard throughout her life. World of Truth was writtten after having an intense dream. "Here for a Livin" and "Here We Come" were inspired by her family's moved to Hollywood at the start of 1993. "No Turning Back" got its inspiration from Nagy's personal experience in her early years in Hollywood, as well as having seen tons of serious movies and series. "Coolness" was thought of after listening to 90's rap songs during a recording break.
"No Doubt" was thought of when recalling university experiences, and comparing them to a few that took place during her school years.
The track "Rapid Time" was ironically going to be a slow track, before co-writer Trevor Jakeman, suggested it would better as a fast track, reminiscent of several modern tracks. After realizing that he was right, he thought of including a rapper in the album. Since she had listened to Hotel Diablo, the week before, Nagy assumed that it was a good choice. Baker accepted the invitation and added his verse through a voice message.
"We're Gonna Be There" was conceived as an attempt to recreate Carole King's "You've Got a Friend"; having listened to Childish Gambino's Feels Like Summer, and being impressed with his style after listen to his albums for roughly four hours. Nagy contaced Glover and accepted, a few days later, they worked on "We're Gonna Be There"
Reception
The album has been met with general acclaim, holding a 98% rating on allmusic.com. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, coincidentally the title track also debuted at #1, essentially signifying Nagy's big comeback to the spotlight as a singer.
